Current Projects

I am beginning work on a trio that explores the literary phenomena
of mad women.  The piece is for 3 female dancers and will be set to a serenade
by W.A. Mozart. The work has been chosen for the BalletMet
New Choreography Project and will premiere on April 10, 2008.

I have recently completed work on a new piece, performed for Columbus Dance VI. It is for five dancers,
and is set to Arvo Pärt's score, "My Heart's in the Highlands." The libretto is a Robert Burns
poem, expressing homesickness. The dance seeks to explore the vulnerability experienced when the
people and places that create our sense of "home" and the familiar are inevitably lost.
